NOTICE OF CHANGE IN ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE

Mr. Donohue’s team welcomes the public to attend this meeting for informational purposes but arrangements and opportunities for public input will be provided at future sessions after the Advisory Committee has completed its work. They are making every effort to devise the best financial and environmental solutions first, and will then address considerations of public acceptability.

The Somerset County Sanitary Commission holds meetings
at the Somerset County Office Complex (Rm.111),
typically on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1p.m.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Somerset County Sanitary District will be monitoring the Princess Anne Water System and the Fairmount, Rumbley & Frenchtown Water System for Lead and Copper in September 2017.

If you are interested in having the water in your home monitored for Lead and Copper and your home meets one of the following Criteria, call Earl Ludy at 410-651-0268 or contact him by email at eludy@somersetmd.us.

1.  Single Family home built after 1982 with copper pipes.

2.  Multiple Family structure built after 1982 with copper pipes.

3.  Single Family home built prior to 1983 with copper pipes.

Lead and Copper Monitoring cannot be done on homes with on-site water treatment systems installed.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Somerset County Sanitary District will be flushing the water lines in Princess Anne starting August 16, 2017 and continue throughout the remainder of August 2017.

This is to freshen the water in the lines and remove any sediment that may have built up in the lines over the past year.

Customers may experience some cloudiness in their water during and immediately after the flushing in their area.  This will pass within a few hours.  If cloudiness in the water persist more than 12 hours call the Somerset County Sanitary District at 410-651-3831 for a service call.
